Baggage Policy - TravelPae.com

Baggage Policy

At TravelPae.com, we want your journey to be smooth from start to finish. Because baggage policies vary by airline and route, please review the following guidelines and how to check your specific baggage allowance when booking through our platform.

1. Airline-Specific Baggage Policies

TravelPae.com is a travel booking platform and does not determine baggage allowances. All baggage rules—including allowances, fees, size, and weight limits—are set by the individual airlines. These policies may vary depending on:

  • Airline
  • Ticket class (economy, premium, business, etc.)
  • Domestic or international route
  • Fare type (basic, flex, saver, etc.)

Please refer to your booking confirmation or the airline’s website for exact baggage rules.

2. Where to Find Your Baggage Info

  • During booking, we'll show you basic baggage information (if provided by the airline).
  • After booking, you can find baggage details in your booking confirmation email and My Bookings section on TravelPae.com.
  • For the most up-to-date info, always check directly with the airline using your PNR (booking reference) or ticket number.

3. Types of Baggage

Carry-On Baggage
Most airlines allow one small carry-on bag and one personal item (e.g., laptop bag or handbag). Size and weight limits vary by carrier.

Checked Baggage
Some fares include checked baggage, while others do not. Fees for checked bags vary and may increase if added later or at the airport.

Excess Baggage
Extra charges will apply if your bag exceeds the airline’s weight or size limit. These must be paid directly to the airline.

4. Special & Oversized Baggage

Traveling with sports equipment, musical instruments, or other oversized items? Special rules and fees may apply. Please contact the airline in advance for approval and handling instructions.

5. Lost or Damaged Baggage

If your baggage is delayed, lost, or damaged during travel, please report it immediately to the airline’s baggage service desk at the airport. TravelPae.com cannot process baggage claims, but we’re happy to assist you with contact information or supporting documentation.

6. Tips to Avoid Baggage Issues

  • Weigh your bags before heading to the airport.
  • Label your luggage clearly with your name and contact info.
  • Keep valuables and essentials in your carry-on.
  • Arrive early, especially for international flights.
